Ok, I am terrible at this blog thing... yes. I know I have said it before. This is attempt #2 to revive it and become better at blogging! I was a little discouraged after my camera & laptop were stolen -_- but my phone takes pretty decent pics. Decent enough for a blog post anyway, lol.

Guru Recreation - Jacqueline

Recreations are basically "copies" of a look that has been done/created by someone else. In the beauty community copying people is supposedly a big no-no. But, I love doing guru recreations. I mean, that's what tutorials are for right? We might as well utilize the talent that they're sharing with us, LOL. I plan on doing a "guru" recreation at least once a week to show how you can take a look someone else did & work it out for you. Everybody's skill differs as well as facial structures and techniques! It's fun to try a look out on yourself that you've seen someone else do! It's how you learn, and develop your skills.

For my 1st (blog recorded) recreation, I chose a look by the beautiful Jacqueline aka Brilliant Brunette. She actually recreated this look herself from Zoffe's Makeup. So this is a recreation of a recreation, LOL. See how that works? Jacqueline does have a youtube channel, which is how I first found her, but she has shifted her focus to her blog: abrilliantbrunette.com due to school & work. We all have lives outside of this beauty world, right?

Anyway, I chose the blue & green look that she recreated which can be found >HERE<
